My Total Score__________

the rating system

24-30 = Bring on the New Year
Youve got supreme school spirit and are ready to make the most of every opportunitywhether its playing in the band or sharing Jesus in the hallways. Keep it up. Just be careful not to let your extracurricular activities and friendships take away from hitting the books and keeping those grades up. Hey, maybe you could even try using all your enthusiasm to encourage somebody whos having a rough time getting back to the grind.

14-23 = Making the Slow, Smooth Switch
Sounds like youre going with the flowsummer or school. No sense fighting it, youre back in class so youre going to get some good out of it. Good deal; just dont get too comfortable. Try stretching yourself a little bit. Take on an extra-credit project, join a new club or take some leadership in the ones youre already in. You can turn an average school year into an extraordinary one with just a little more effort.

00-13 = Bumming with the Blues
Yep, youve got a case of the Back-to-School Blues. Youre stuck in the summer and having a tough time making the transition back to your education. Its time to take a big dose of reality and break out of the blahs. Otherwise youre in for a loooong and miserable nine months. Face it, the end of the year is a long way off, but try giving yourself some closer milestones to look forward to: Thanksgiving holiday, the end of the quarter, that teacher work-day next month, maybe even this weekend. Also, take a risk and reach out. Try getting involved in one school activity, maybe even a new one. And get some help from a friend who can keep the school day fun and help you keep a positive attitude.
